Catalog
Catalog
Every object and pattern, what each one means, and every prop it takes.
Sinua has five objects. Each has a set of patterns: the looks it can take. Pick the object by what you're showing, and the pattern by what's happening.
| Object | Shows | Patterns |
|---|---|---|
| Orb | voice agents and assistants | 18 |
| Signal | sound: levels, waveforms, meters | 4 |
| Ring | progress: arcs, goals, steps, gauges | 5 |
| Core | loading states for text | 2 |
| Beacon | status: pings, quality, location, scans | 5 |
Every object takes the same materials, colour and speed & size props. The tables on each object's page are generated from the engine's parameter catalog, so they are always current.
You can read that catalog yourself — parameterCatalog() returns the same data these tables are built from, so a tool of your own can list a pattern's props, their ranges and their defaults without hard-coding anything:
import { parameterCatalog } from "@sinua/core";
const catalog = parameterCatalog();
const orb = catalog.objects.find((o) => o.id === "orb")!;
const breathing = orb.patterns.find((p) => p.id === "breathing")!;
for (const { ref, default: byPattern } of breathing.params) {
const d = catalog.definitions[ref];
console.log(d.path, d.type, `${d.min}–${d.max}`, "default at 64:", byPattern["64"], "—", d.description);
}
